DEVIATION SURVEYS
Deviation Survey
The hole deviation can be prevented with active drill hole measurements and deviation surveys. The deviation survey is usually conducted after the completion of a hole, but with deep or branched holes, the survey can be conducted several times at the desired interval.
To get to the target with as little hole-deviation as possible, it is important to set up the drill rig in the exact right place and to be aware of geological conditions that can impact the drill.
